Amy and I are putting on another shooow!
DETAILS:
date: August 9th
time: 8pm (doors at 7:30)
place: Democracy Center (45 Mt Auburn, Cambridge MA)
money: $10/$6 students/seniors/etc
Here's what you can expect:
- DANCE -
Molly Hess, who is one of the most lovely people I know, will be dancing about potatoes, I think.
And of course Amy and me will be fools in an elegant and sophisticated way. (We'll be wearing our new jumpsuits.)
- MUSIC -
Sweet and fun americana-ness from Ponyfish.
Sweet and fun indie pop-ness from Brad of One Happy Island. (This is the band in which Meghan bangs on drums.)
- CONTORTION -
Dorothy King will be bending around, and Amy and I might make some earnest attempts.
- VISUAL ART -
Amber Duntley makes hilarious and cute embroidery that she will be sharing with us. Which is really exciting because she hasn't displayed her work in a really long time! Check out her website: http://ambergoesclick.virb.
Nicole Beauchaine will be displaying her ysweet guitars again. Each one is engaging and will pull you in.
- FOOD -
Because duh. Amy and I are frequently hungry.
Expect some cupcake art by the previously mentioned Molly Hess.
COME HANG OUT FOLKS.
